SilverMC is a vanilla Minecraft server that has been around since May 5th 2018. We are a community of players who enjoy playing Minecraft together. We have a dedicated staff team that is always ready to help you out with any questions or problems you might have.

• Basically, we will not change your gameplay beyond what is absolutely necessary.
• We mostly have quality-of-life plugins, such as CoreProtect/Ledger and a datapack that changes the default player requirement for sleeping.
• Aside from those, any custom commands are optional and do not affect game play for anyone who chooses to ignore them.
• This includes, for example, custom armor stand books and the custom head database, both of which are purely aesthetic.

The server was first created on May 5th 2018.
Since April 25th of 2019 this server has been ran by Potato and Sirkomplete. All decisions are however made in agreement of the whole admin team and followed up with players and other staff members.

• To tackle hardware failures we use a daily backup system, with enough rendundancy to resist a small scale war.
• We also backup our server before every major update

You can apply here. Be aware that applying does not guarantee a guard rank and that complaining about this fact only worsens your chances of being accepted.

We are dependent on our players to cover server, maintenance costs, and to provide the foundation for our community. Support us by donating here.

You can report bugs through these means:

• Use the /helpop command ingame.
• Report it on our Discord in the #feedback channel.
• In rare cases you can message our support email, but please use the other methods first.

Player Roles:

• When a player joins they are a snowflake, which means they cant interact with our spawn yet. After 12 hours of in-game playtime you can be promoted to the normal player rank, and get spawn access.
• Players that want to run Events can become Event Managers.

Staff Roles:

• Players can apply to become guards. We have guards and senior-guards, where the latter just indicates more experience.

Server Team:

• This includes Admins, Server Developers and Owners.

You can access the online map here, or alternatively in game by typing /map.

• You must travel manually, by using our nether highway or use other means of transportation.
• This keeps the gameplay more vanilla and challenging.

• If you wish to play technical Minecraft on our server, you will find welcoming colleagues here ☻.
• If your contraptions start lagging the server, the staff may suggest lag friendliness improvements, or ask you to not run them during peak hours.
• However, we will NEVER EVER delete or grief your systems because of this (unless it’s a lag machine ofc ^^)
• Our server behaves the same as Vanilla Minecraft.
• Regarding code optimization, we use the same mods  that most technical servers use

You need atleast 12 hours of playtime to apply for Spawn Access in our Discord. Once granted you will be able to build in Spawn.

The server has various ranks and teams:

❄ - those who cant access spawn yet

❤ - those who donated in the past

✯ - those who won an event star during an event

⛨ - staff members

❖ - admins and server devs

⚜ - UNSMC president

To run an event:

• Contact staff or event managers to propose your event ideas.
• Get approval from staff/them.
• Coordinate with staff for scheduling and rules.
• Prepare some post for our #news channel.

To participate in events:

• Check the Discord for event announcements.
• Join the event location around the announced time.
• Follow the event rules and have fun!

Yes, there is an economy system on the server.

• Players can buy and sell items using diamonds as currency.
• Shops are available in spawn for various items.
• Players can also create their own shops.
• We do not use a shop plugin/mod to sell/buy items in spawn.
